Configuration settings for Internet Explorer 6.0 (Windows)

Internet Explorer separates the Internet into zones, so that each website can be assigned to a zone with the desired level of security. You assign a website to a security zone as follows:

1. In Internet Explorer, select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu.

2. Select the "Security" tab and then click on the "Trusted Sites" security zone.

3. Select "Sites"

4. Make sure that the checkbox "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone" is NOT selected.

5. In the text field under "Add this Web site to the zone:", enter the Internet address of the website that you wish to add to this zone
6. Then click the "Add" button.

Notes

You cannot add websites to the Internet zone that comprises everything that does not belong to another zone and that is located on your local computer.

To remove a website from a zone, first perform steps 1 to 4. In the "Web sites" list box, click the name of the website you wish to remove and then click "Remove"

If Internet Explores is to check that the server for every website in this list is secure before establishing a connection, then select the "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone" check box.
